transitions

How do you tell the difference between a relationship turning into a friendship, and NRE deepening into lasting love?

I guess this is both, in your experience, and what do you think are signs?
I'm wondering because sometimes I'm unsure if my deepening love and less passionate crazy love indicates a move towards friendship or perhaps a move into stability, and I'm curious what other people think about that.

    truly a tuff one as i have experienced it. Really the same feelings can be leading in different directions.
